Description

Soil degradation and deforestation affect nearly 2 billion hectares worldwide and compromise food systems, water cycles, and the livelihoods of rural populations. This roundtable will examine the results and lessons learned from initiatives such as the Great Green Wall and others. By highlighting innovative financial mechanisms that can accelerate the deployment of nature-based solutions, this roundtable will pave the way for further collective action and financing of restoration and conservation projects.
