Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter serves as Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of the Federal Republic of Germany. A member of the German Bundestag since 2005 (continuously since 2010), she represents the Social Democratic Party (SPD). She holds a degree in business administration from the Universities of Freiburg and Zurich.
