(Session co-organized with the International Fund for Public Interest Media and the Forum on Information and Democracy).In an era of information wars, opaque algorithms, and profound geopolitical shifts, the International Conference on Information Integrity and Independent Media aims to strengthen the collective response of democratic countries to threats against free and reliable information. Organized with the support of France and Ghana, this conference seeks to mobilize the political and financial resources required to meet these challenges.During this session, heads of state, ministers, and civil society leaders will make commitments to reinvigorate the global coalition in support of information integrity initiated with the launch of the Partnership on Information and Democracy at the first edition of the Paris Forum in 2018, and to equip it with a robust financial arm through the replenishment of the International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM).
