COP30 President André Correia do Lago has created a Circle of COP Presidents chaired by Laurent Fabius.In a letter addressed to the Parties on March 10, 2025, he “invites the Circle of Presidents to provide advice on the political process and the implementation of climate change measures, given the climate emergency and the complexity of the task of strengthening climate governance and demonstrating flexibility, preparedness, and foresight in both decision-making and implementation.”Panelists will discuss the current climate situation and the role of COPs in the run-up to Belem.
