Description

Haya has served in senior government offices at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Qatar prior to assuming her current role at Qatar Fund for Development as Deputy Director General of Planning.She began her career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the office of the Deputy Foreign Minister for International Cooperation. Transiting to the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs as a young diplomat, managing high-level political portfolios and overseeing the implementation of key national and strategic initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Qatar and a master’s degree in security studies from King’s College London. Haya also worked at the Qatari Defense Attaché Office in the UK, supporting the bilateral defense relationship between Qatar and the United Kingdom.
