Damaris Guaza Sandoval Psychologist from the University of Valle, Cali, Colombia.She is an Afro-descendant woman originally from Buenos Aires, Cauca, Colombia.She has been part of the team at the Edupaz Foundation, working in areas related to peacebuilding, conscientious objection, and promoting social transformation initiatives.For two years, she was part of the team of the Peace and Justice Project of the Honduran Mennonite Church, promoting nonviolence and positive conflict transformation in school settings.She is currently part of the team of the Mennonite Central Committee in Mexico, of the International Peace Service. From these positions, she contributes to peacebuilding and positive conflict transformation with indigenous peoples. She also works for the historical reparation of Afro-descendant communities.
