Description

Gilles Bloch is a polytechnician, doctor and researcher in biophysics and medicine. He was appointed Director of Life Sciences at the CEA in 2009 and presided from 2015 to 2018 at Paris-Saclay University and then, at INSERM – the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research from 2019 to 2023. He was finally appointed president of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle on September 1, 2023.
