Description

Younes Addou is the Vice President Agribusiness & Sustainability Solutions of INNOVX, an innovation engine launched by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco in 2022 and that is dedicated to building innovative and sustainable businesses and ecosystems with strong local impact. Based in Casablanca, Younes is heading the MAVA Platform, an initiative co-sponsored by OCP Group and IFC, and which main objective is to structure, derisk and mobilize financing for the development of sustainable agricultural value chains in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to stepping into the role of Vice President of InnoVx, Mr Addou spent over 11 years at OCP in different leadership positions, including Vice President Finance and Innovative Solutions of OCP Africa. Previously, he held various investment/management positions at Private Equity firms and International Consulting firms, including Abraaj Capital and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Addou has a Master’s in finance and International Risk Management degree from HEC Paris. He is also a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, where he received a diploma in computer engineering.Mr Addou is a married and father of two.
