Description
Ilgın Paslı-Brombach is the Co-Founder and Director of planIMPACT e.V. - Verein für Menschenrechte, Frieden und Entwicklung, a Germany-based NGO working to foster a culture of peace and human rights by empowering, engaging, and connecting youth in conflict-affected communities and beyond to shape the decisions and futures that affect them and to create sustainable, just, and resilient societies. She also serves on the board of the Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (YPAN), a Council of Europe–originated informal network of over 160 young peacebuilders across Europe and beyond, which has trained and mobilised more than 4,500 youth in the last 4 years alone. In 2024, Ilgın served as a Youth Delegate to the 4th Migration Youth Forum, organised in collaboration with MYCP, IOM and UNICEF and for the term 2024-2025, she is also a Youth Delegate to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, contributing to advancing meaningful youth participation. Currently, she works as the Networks and Cooperations Advisor at the Academy for Conflict Transformation of the ProPeace (former Forum Civil Peace Service) INGO.Her work consistently bridges local action with international policymaking, with a strong focus on gender equality, meaningful participation, and democratic resilience and peace.
