Before joining OCP Africa, Hajar held senior roles at Unilever, including General Manager for Nutrition Southeast Asia & Indonesia and Chairperson & Managing Director of Unilever Sri Lanka. There, she led record growth, expanded market leadership, and advanced the company’s sustainability and inclusion agenda. Renowned for her transformative and inclusive leadership, she combines strategic vision with deep cultural empathy. A graduate in Marketing and Business Administration, she holds executive certifications from INSEAD and Cambridge. Recognized as Global Female Leader of the Year (ASEAN 2023), she continues to champion purpose-driven, sustainable growth across Africa and beyond.
