Gastón Siroit is the Director of the Methane Emissions Observatory for Latin America and the Caribbean at OLADE, where he leads initiatives that integrate data, innovation, and policy to accelerate decarbonization across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector — including renewables, oil and gas, and mining — he has held senior positions at the IDB, TOTAL, and Argentina’s Ministry of Energy. A graduate of ITBA (Argentina), INSA Toulouse, and École des Mines de Paris, he specializes in energy transition policy, low-carbon infrastructure, and sustainable resource development.
