Description

Victor Valido is an international development professional committed to bridging science and policy. He currently coordinates the Material Flow Analysis project of UNEP's International Resource Panel (IRP), supporting scientists in advancing global understanding of resource use and sustainability. He fosters collaboration across UNEP initiatives, manages research on the interlinkages between natural resources, urbanization and climate change, and oversees the recruitment of top scientific talent to the Panel. In his previous roles, Victor coordinated a UNEP intergovernmental initiative to improve corporate sustainability reporting practices, and worked in the NGO sector to improve transparency in microfinance markets in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
