Description

Cara Stern is the incoming Executive Director of InterAct, working alongside peace activists and social entrepreneurs Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon to build lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians by 2030. Cara brings 25+ years of diverse international experience across 30+ countries. As a civic space expert, she has advised civil society organizations, global coalitions, intergovernmental bodies, and development agencies, including senior roles with USAID missions for West Bank-Gaza, Moldova, Serbia, Indonesia, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). She holds an LLM in Comparative Constitutional Law with a Specialization in Human Rights from Central European University, an MA in Political Science from Hebrew University, and a BA in Politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
