Dr. Dino Patti Djalal is the Founder and Chairman of Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), the largest grassroots foreign policy group in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and the Indo-Pacific.Prior to that, he served as Indonesia's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014) and Ambassador to the United States (2010-2013). In 2004, Dr. Dino Patti Djalal was appointed as Special Staff of the President for International Affairs, where he acted as the Presidential Spokesperson, Speechwriter, and Foreign Policy Adviser to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.Dr. Dino Patti Djalal earned his Ph.D. in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He is a prominent speaker on diplomacy, security, and regional cooperation, with a strong focus on youth engagement and citizen diplomacy—championing civil society's role in shaping global conversations.
