Description
Professor of environmental physics at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ) since 2008, Philippe Bousquet holds a doctorate in environmental physics obtained in 1997 from the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie University. He teaches at the Observatory of Universe Sciences – OVSQ and has been involved in the “Master’s in Air Quality and Noise Control” program and then in the climate courses of the “STePE” master’s program. His research focuses on the modeling of greenhouse gases in the context of climate change, particularly on the carbon and methane cycles. He has also actively contributed to the Global Carbon Project as a member of the scientific committee for the global methane balance. Since October 1, 2019, he has been director of the Climate and Environmental Sciences Laboratory (LSCE – UMR CEA/CNRS/UVSQ), which brings together around 350 people.
