Description

Chloe Setter is a leading expert in international child rights and protection with over 15 years of experience shaping government policy and tech sector standards. Leading child safety public policy for Europe at Google, she drives critical child safety and wellbeing initiatives across Europe. Prior to Google, Chloe served as TikTok's child safety lead for Europe. Her policy and advocacy experience is extensive, including serving as Head of Advocacy, Policy and Research at WeProtect Global Alliance, a movement dedicated to preventing child sexual exploitation and abuse online. She has also tackled complex emerging issues like 'orphanage trafficking' as Head of Anti-Trafficking at Lumos Foundation. Notably, as Head of Advocacy, Policy & Campaigns at ECPAT UK, Chloe was an advisor to the UK government and played a key role in the development of the UK Modern Slavery Act, securing important amendments for child victims.
