George Collins is Chair of the Lotteries Council, the UK’s leading membership body for society lotteries and their suppliers. He has spent the past 10+ years working with charities to launch and grow sustainable lottery programmes, combining digital innovation with traditional fundraising methods. As Commercial Director at CFP Lottery & Raffles, George has been at the forefront of prize-led fundraising, helping charities harness lotteries as a powerful and responsible tool to raise millions for good causes. Since joining the Lotteries Council Board in 2018, he has played a central role in advancing public affairs, promoting high standards, and safeguarding the sector’s reputation. At the Paris Peace Forum, George brings insights from the UK lottery sector on how regulated charity lotteries can mobilise resources for social good, strengthen community resilience, and support long-term sustainable development.
