Onyekachi Nwafor is the CEO of KatexPower, a renewable energy company providing clean and sustainable power solutions to off-grid and underserved communities in Nigeria. With over eight years of international experience in renewable energy, he has led impactful projects that electrified hundreds of households, created jobs, and empowered women and youth through capacity-building programs. His initiative, Solar Energy for Resilient Communities, enhances energy access while promoting climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods. Onyekachi is also actively engaged in global climate networks, including the SDG7 Youth Constituency and the Global Waste Cleaning Network, and has contributed to policy and research efforts advancing equitable energy transitions across Africa.
