French diplomat, former special advisor at the Paris peace forum for the 2025 Paris AI action summit.Alexandre Mirlesse is a senior French civil servant specialised in multilateral affairs and tech policy. Between 2019 and 2021, he served as deputy G7/G20 sherpa in President Macron’s team, where he coordinated France’s international Covid-19 response. He is currently in charge of the AI track of the 2026 Africa Forward Summit, co-hosted by France and Kenya. Concurrently, he has founded and hosts “Les Mardis de l’IA”, a monthly conference series aimed at bringing technology at the heart of public debate.A polyglot and former history scholar, Alexandre Mirlesse is also the author — with Jacques Delors — of “En attendant l’Europe” (2009), a book exploring European cultural and political identities.
