Description
Dr. Inbal Becker-Reshef is the Managing Director of Microsoft’s AI for Good Lab, where she leads global efforts leveraging artificial intelligence and planetary-scale data to address pressing challenges—ranging from food security and anticipatory action to disaster response and sustainability. She is the Founder and Co-Director of NASA Harvest, NASA’s Global Food Security and Agriculture Program, and a Research Professor at the University of Maryland. Her work bridges science, technology, and policy to advance sustainable, equitable, and resilient food systems through collaboration across public and private sectors. She is a Fellow at the University of Strasbourg’s Institute for Advanced Studies and a recipient of the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal, the US APEC ASPIRE Prize, and the Arrell Food Prize.
