Since September 2025, Benoît Lerosey has been Head of the Development and Sustainable Solidarity Investment Department at the Directorate General for Global Affairs of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. First-grade State Administrator, Benoît Lerosey holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris. Benoît Lerosey started his diplomatic career in 2015 as a desk officer. He worked as apolitical advisor at the permanent representation of France to the European Union in Brussels (2019-2022). From 2022 to 2023, he was Deputy Head of the EU External Relations Department, before being Head of Department in the same directorate (2023-2024). From January to May 2025, he served as technical advisor to the Presidency (Elysée)./.
