Description

Gabrielle B. Dreyfus is the Chief Scientist at the Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development (IGSD) and an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University. As a climate science and policy expert, she serves on expert panels of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition and the Montreal Protocol and chaired the U.S. National Academies’ committee on Atmospheric Methane Removal. Previously, Dr. Dreyfus served as the Deputy Director of the US Department of Energy’s Office of International Climate and Clean Energy, and held fellowships in the US Senate, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and US Department of Energy. Dr. Dreyfus received a doctorate in Geosciences from Princeton University and Sorbonne Université, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.
