Description

Sheila Khama is the former CEO of De Beers Botswana, and has also worked for the World Bank and African Development Bank’s mineral, oil and gas policy advisory units, leading experts advising governments in Africa, Latin America, and Central Asia. She served on Advisory Boards and Committees at Oxford University’s Natural Resources Charter and the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment. She is currently an extractives policy advisor as well as non-executive director of Base Resources, listed on the ASX, the Metals Company, listed on the NASDAQ, and Tullow Oil, a FTSE 250.
