Description

Imke Kerber is a peace and conflict transformation consultant and certified mediator. Since July 2023, she has been working as an Advisor for Local Conflict Counselling at Pro Peace. Conflict resolution is her area of expertise, which she approached from multiple perspectives: as a Research Associate at the Center for Peace Mediation (2014–2017), as a trainer in the Master’s program in Mediation and Conflict Management at Viadrina University, as a Project Manager for Mediation and Dealing with the Past at the Robert Bosch Foundation in Berlin (2017–2021), and most recently as a mediator and conflict analyst with MONLAR in Colombo, Sri Lanka (2021–2023).She holds degrees in Comparative Studies in Culture and Religion as well as in Peace and Conflict Studies. Her international experience includes positions with the UN Peacebuilding Fund in New York, the UNESCO Post-Conflict/Post-Disaster Desk in Paris, and work in Guatemala, India, and Sri Lanka.Imke Kerber is a founding member of the mediation association ZoffOff e.V., where she served, among other roles, as chairwoman.
