Description

Christof P. Kurz joined International Alert as the Chief of Party of the Madini Kwa Amani Na Maendeleo (Minerals for Peace and Development) project in December 2022, based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has a PhD in International Relations from the Fletcher School, Tufts University, Medford, MA, USA and is an expert on analysing conflict and designing, implementing, and evaluating peacebuilding programs. Prior to joining the Madini project, Christof worked as an independent consultant for various international NGOs and UN organizations and previously spent many years working for international humanitarian organisations and in the election and democracy promotion field.
