Cyberattacks increasingly target high-risk stakeholders - NGOs, journalists, human-rights defenders - as well as the core infrastructure that keeps the Internet running. Yet the nonprofits protecting this ecosystem remain severely underfunded. Backed by Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia, the new Common Good Cyber Fund is the first global mechanism dedicated to sustaining these frontline cybersecurity organizations.In this high-level session, representatives of the donor governments, joined by the Internet Society and the Ecosystem Committee represented by the Global Cyber Alliance, will unveil the Fund’s grant strategy, announce its new supporters, and outline next steps, including the timeline for open calls for applications.
